Move slow!  Most dealers want to pressure you to buy today.  They will use inventory, price, and your emotions to pressure you to buy that day.  Never buy a car on the first day.  Once you have used tip 1 & 2, visit a dealer of your choice but do not buy.  Look listen and learn.  Ask for all pricing and rate information in writing.  This will allow you to take it home and compare with My Auto Loan , Vroom, and other dealer prices in your market.  Making a quick purchase can be costly.  Dealers and sales people are trained to sell.  How much training have you had at buying.  Move slow!
