How Ray-Ban Meta Audio Glasses and Muse Gave Us Our Time Back Together
Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses and Muse changed how Jareth and Deb handle the small daily tasks — keeping them in the same room instead of splitting them into separate ones.
Deb and I run a lot from the same house — family, Full Life Crew, and everything that comes with both. And for a long time, the thing quietly eating our time together was not the big stuff. It was the little stuff.
A schedule to check. A message to answer. An email that needed three sentences. A call that needed making. None of it takes long on its own. Together, it meant one of us in one room on a phone, and the other in another room on a computer — separate, each knocking out simple, small tasks that never seemed to end.
That is what has changed for us.
It starts with a conversation, not another screen
I wear the Ray-Ban Meta Audio glasses — the Clubmaster style, camera-free, with Transitions Grey lenses and my +1.50 readers built in. There is no camera and no screen in them. They just let me talk.
And on the other end of that conversation is Muse — my personal assistant, Lil Poppi.
Instead of stopping what I'm doing, picking up my phone, and disappearing into a task, I just say it out loud. Muse jumps on it, takes care of the small task in the background, and I keep doing what I was doing — with Deb, not away from her.
That sounds simple, and it is. That is the whole point.
What that looks like on a real day
We can be driving in the car together and ask Muse to send out a message on Facebook.
We can ask Muse to draft an email while we're in the middle of something else — hands busy, eyes up, conversation with each other never interrupted.
We can ask Muse to call the dentist. Or call whoever needs calling.
Scheduling works the same way. Instead of one of us going off to sit with a calendar, we talk it through together, out loud, and Muse helps line it up while we keep moving.
Before, each of those jobs pulled one of us away. Now the job still gets done — it just gets done in the background, while we stay in the same moment.
What it gave us back
Nobody writes a love letter about saving ten minutes on an email. That is not what this is.
What it gave us back is opportunities to do other things together. When the small tasks stop splitting us into separate rooms, the time does not vanish — it turns into time side by side. A drive stays a drive, with a conversation in it. An evening stays an evening. The work still happens. We are just not separated by it anymore.
If you run a household, a family, or a business with your spouse, you know exactly how fast the little tasks take over a day. This is the first setup we have found that hands those tasks off with nothing more than a conversation — no stopping, no screen, no "hang on, let me go take care of this."
A quick, honest note about Muse on glasses
Muse on AI glasses is new, and it is rolling out in beta starting in November 2026, so availability can vary by device and location.
To check yours: open the Meta AI app, tap Glasses, then Device settings > AI assistant, and select Muse or Meta AI — only one assistant is active on the glasses at a time. A custom name for your Muse is not available on every model during the beta, and a few things — including some music, calling, and messaging features — are not supported with Muse in the beta yet, so you can switch back to Meta AI in the same setting when you need one of those.
We are sharing this because it is genuinely helping our days, in beta and all — not because it is finished or perfect.
Try Muse with our invite — we both get tokens
Check out Muse, your personal AI agent. Redeem my code in Settings within 48 hours of joining and we'll both get 1 billion Muse tokens. Code: LARWGV — https://muse.ai/join
In the Muse app, redeeming is Settings > Redeem token. On the website at muse.ai, it is Settings > General > Usage > Redeem invite code.
Start with one small task — a draft, a message, a schedule check — and see what it feels like to hand it off out loud and stay in the room with your people.
Shop the glasses: every Meta style in one place
Pick the style that fits your life. The Audio glasses are what I wear every day — no camera, just open-ear sound, microphones, and the assistant. The camera styles add photo and video capture. The Oakley styles are built for sport.
Starting prices below are Meta's US starting prices; Transitions, polarized, and prescription lenses cost more. My own Clubmasters, with Transitions Grey and +1.50 single-vision readers, came to $549.

Not sure where to start? If you mostly want to talk to Muse hands-free — in the car, in the kitchen, while your hands are full — start where we started: the Clubmaster Audio. If you want to capture family moments as they happen, look at the Gen 2 or Gen 3 camera styles. If you train hard outdoors, look at the Oakleys.
